How large is the fuel tank on a Troy-Bilt lawnmower?

I  have just bought a Troy-Bilt V560 Model lawnmower, but I have no idea how large the fuel tank is on it. I cannot find it anywhere in the operating manual and I need to know if my 1 gallon gasoline tank will be enough to fill it up or if I need to purchase a larger size.

That model you have comes with more than one type of engine, so I can’t say how big with certainty. I can say that my Troy-Bilt was a predecessor of this model, and its fuel tank held about 1 gallon (3.8 Litres).

    Hope this helps!

Don’t know for sure. I’d guess 2 gallons.

  6. Generally with walk behind lawnmowers a petrol can of about 2 gallons is recommended so you you won’t have excess hanging around in the garage. So if you don’t mind dashing off now and againto refill the 1 gal can, it should be suitable your machine. You’ll know quickly if your 1 gallon is too small….after a mowing or too. Hard for us to answer because we don’t know your lawn size.
You are right about not finding fuel capacity for walk behinds……they don’t list it, even when you go to the engine specs.
Ride on mowers have around a 3+ gallon capacity……that was easily found.
